Does requesting to join confirm my place?
Not always. Some sessions require admission. Check the status in My sessions: once confirmed, you can access the exact meeting point and conversation with admitted participants.
Who can see the meeting point and route?
The discovery area is approximate. The meeting address, coordinates and directions are reserved for the organiser and admitted participants. An AllTrails link added by the organiser can be viewed before admission by people authorised to see the session; it does not reveal the private meeting point.
