This document is being finalised. It is not yet presented as a definitive version in force.
Working document updated on 6 November 2026. The chosen minimum age is 13. This information describes the prepared functionality; it is not legal validation of the framework for minors. Optional processing, provider terms and operational information remain to be finalised before adoption of the definitive version.
1. Purpose and controller
This page explains how to request deletion of a Foulevo account and its personal data, including when the application has been uninstalled or access to the account has been lost.
The person responsible for the service and handling requests is Tristan MURAT, a sole trader (entrepreneur individuel, EI), trading name Tristanovate Solutions, SIREN 925 380 586, SIRET 925 380 586 00014, Plan Villard, 73600 Moûtiers, France. Contact: contact@foulevo.com.
Deletion is free. Uninstalling Foulevo, logging out or revoking a phone permission does not delete the account or data already saved.
2. Request deletion in the application
In the application, follow the path Profile → Settings → Privacy → Delete my account. Read the consequences presented and confirm your request. Verification of your authentication may be necessary to protect your account.
The confirmed request is handled by the deletion process with a tracking receipt. Processing of the account and files is distinguished from service provider verification; 'service provider verification in progress' does not mean 'deletion complete'. Simply displaying a submitted request does not mean all erasure operations are complete. If verification or intervention is necessary, support informs you and helps you complete the process.
If you administer a shared group, you can transfer its administration to another member before deleting your account. If there is difficulty or transfer is impossible, contact support: group management must not indefinitely prevent exercise of your right to erasure.
3. Request deletion without the application
You can make your request directly by email, without reinstalling Foulevo or logging back in to the application.
Recipient: contact@foulevo.com.
Suggested subject: Deletion of my Foulevo account.
Useful information: the email address associated with your account, your profile name if you know it, and a clear indication that you wish to delete the account and its associated data. No reason for leaving is required.
Example message:
> Hello, I request the deletion of my Foulevo account and the personal data associated with it. The address linked to my account is: [your address]. My profile name is: [optional]. Please confirm the processing of my request.
Where possible, send your request from the address linked to the account. If you no longer have access to it, say so and provide a way to reply. We will seek a proportionate verification method. Do not send a password, login code or identity document without being asked. Additional evidence is requested only where there is reasonable doubt and only to the extent necessary.
4. Data concerned
Subject to the exceptions precisely described below, deletion covers:
- the authentication account and profile information, including contact details, date of birth, preferences and personal sports information;
- profile and cover photos, posts, comments and personal files stored by Foulevo, including messages and attachments associated with the account;
- participation requests, follow relationships, group memberships, reactions and associated notifications;
- personal summaries, thank-yous, memories, goals and progress items;
- notification tokens and other technical identifiers linked to the account that are no longer necessary;
- data held on our behalf by the relevant service providers, to whom applicable erasure requests are also sent.
Content shared with other Users remains covered by the request: its presence in a group or conversation does not authorise indefinite retention by Foulevo. Other members' own items are not deleted solely because you leave. Where keeping a collective item is necessary, your personal data must be removed from it or be covered by an explained legal exception.
Deleted content is not reused by Foulevo for communications, advertising or training artificial intelligence.
5. Practical consequences
Once deletion has been carried out, you can no longer log in to that account or retrieve its personal data in Foulevo. Deletion is not a simple pause. Creating a new account later does not automatically restore erased data.
Outings or groups for which you are solely responsible may require a transfer of administration, cancellation or another organisational measure. Support handles these situations without requiring unjustified retention of your account.
Copies you have exported yourself to your phone, downloads or screenshots made by other people, and content published separately on third-party services cannot generally be erased remotely by Foulevo. This limitation does not reduce the information or erasure steps that the law requires Foulevo to take with the recipients concerned.
Deleting the Foulevo account does not delete your Google, Apple or other third-party account. Authentication links and permissions specific to Foulevo are handled as part of closure. You can also manage your permissions with the provider concerned.
Deleting the account and its data also unsubscribes you from the Foulevo promotional lists associated with that account. A website subscription under another address can be identified in the request so that it is also handled. Only minimal evidence of objection may be retained to avoid contacting you again for promotional purposes.
6. Timeframes and confirmation
This working draft does not announce any firm timeframe for a support response or for complete purging of files and backups. Unfinished steps remain visible in the tracking, including verification with service providers.
Requests to exercise rights are processed without undue delay. We inform you of the action taken no later than one month after receipt, in accordance with the GDPR. This period may be extended by two months if justified by the complexity or number of requests; you are informed during the first month, with the reasons for the extension.
The tracking receipt distinguishes ongoing steps from their confirmed completion. Where the response is handled by support, support uses the available contact method. If some data must be retained or the request cannot be met in full or in part, the response identifies the categories concerned, the reason, the retention period or its criteria, and the available remedies. Data that can be erased is not retained unnecessarily while another item is being processed.
7. Exceptions and backups
Certain information may be retained with restricted access where a legal obligation requires it or where it is strictly necessary for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims. Retention is not decided across the board 'just in case': it covers only justified information, for a defined or determinable period.
A minimal technical log enables execution checks and incident handling. Its actual retention period and the starting point for purging must be confirmed for the deployed version, taking account of service provider checks still in progress. Records necessary for a legal obligation or dispute are retained separately, with restricted access and a review deadline.
Backup copies are not used to restore the activity of a deleted account. During a technical restoration, erasure requests must be reapplied before the data concerned is brought back into use. The maximum persistence period for residual copies depends on the backup cycle and must be stated in the privacy policy before publication; it has not yet been confirmed in this draft.
Truly anonymous statistics that no longer allow you to be reasonably identified may remain. Simply replacing your name with an identifier is not sufficient to make data anonymous.
8. Delete certain data without closing the account
You can use the available features to edit your profile, delete your content or withdraw consent without requesting closure of the entire account. You can also write to contact@foulevo.com, specifying the data concerned. We explain any consequences for the feature that uses it.
Revoking location, microphone, photo or notification permissions in the phone settings prevents corresponding future access; it does not in itself delete files or information already sent to the service.
9. Complaint
For any difficulty, contact contact@foulevo.com. You can also lodge a complaint with the Commission nationale de l’informatique et des libertés or use the other remedies provided by law.
For details of all processing, see the privacy policy.
